The Holzworth Christmas was wonderful here. We stayed home and shared it with our close family. We had Christmas Eve dinner at our house, Justin and I prepared my family's tradition of Chili and Oyster Stew and all the fixings for dinner. We were joined by Justin's Dad Larry, Justin's Sister Jody and Jody's husband Von, My parents Ernie and Cindy, my brother Tyler his wife Scottia and my nephew Cody! We enjoyed having a house full... Dinner was great and hit the spot. After dinner the boys all were allowed to open a couple of gifts. Lane and Jack got Pj's and the Night Before Christmas book, (this is our CEve tradition!!!) Grammey got them a game to play that night. As for us adults we had a bowling competition, thanks to April and Steve who have let us borrow their wii. And I believe that Justin won. Tyler did kick my butt at tennis though. We had a wonderful time surrounded by those we love.
Christmas morning Lane and Jack awoke to what Santa had left for them; a "Hot Rod Village" for Lane and a "Cookie Jar" for Jack. Then they spent the rest of the morning opening and playing with the gifts that we got them. We just love to watch them open Christmas gifts... Then it was off to Grammey and Poppy's house for Dinner and more importantly MORE PRESENTS!!!! The boys got completely SPOILED ROTTEN by the end of the two days!!! You would have never guessed that we were in a recession. Dinner great, NO One went away hungry that's for sure. We all had time to visit and again there was some wii competitions, I think we might all be addicted. So we had a wonderful Christmas with our family that we will remember and cherish for years to come...
